Christine Pasmore has been a dedicated childcare owner and operator in northern Alberta since 2006. With a deep commitment to children and families, she has spent nearly two decades building high-quality, responsive programs that meet the diverse needs of her community.

As a founding board member of the Alberta Association of Childcare Entrepreneurs (AACE), Christine advocates for accessible, affordable, and sustainable childcare across the province. She actively supports fellow operators through mentorship and consulting, helping them navigate the challenges of running successful centres.

Christine is also the founder of one of Alberta’s only 24/7 licensed childcare centres, offering overnight and weekend care year-round. A proud mother of two grown children, she continues to champion innovative care models that put families first.

Irfanali Moledina, known as Irf, is a Chartered Accountant and Managing Partner at RMI LLP. With over 17 years of experience in business and accounting, Irf is driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and a commitment to helping business owners thrive.

Seeing a gap in traditional accounting services, he set out to provide more than just tax support — delivering strategic advisory and personalized consulting to small and mid-sized companies across Canada.

In addition to his work with RMI, Irf serves as Chair of Enactus Calgary’s Business Advisory Council, is a member of the Bow Valley Accounting Advisory Council, and acts as Finance Chair for the Ismaili National Settlement Portfolio. His work reflects a dedication to leadership, mentorship, and community impact.

Ray Lewchuk has worked in the financial industry for over 40 years and continues to lead a successful financial consulting practice. In 2021, he co-founded Creekside Creative Academy in Red Deer alongside his daughter, launching both a licensed childcare centre and an Accredited Funded Independent School.

Since opening with 40 children, Creekside has grown rapidly, now serving over 250 children across two buildings and offering programs from childcare through Grade 12. Ray’s strategic leadership and financial expertise have guided this remarkable growth in just four years.

In addition to his work in finance and education, Ray has served on numerous nonprofit boards and corporate committees. A dedicated community member, he has also coached competitive hockey and ringette. Ray and his wife Heather, married for 50 years, are proud parents and grandparents.

Krystal Churcher is a childcare operator, entrepreneur, and national advocate for early learning. Since opening her first center in rural Alberta in 2014, she has been recognized for creating high-quality, inclusive programs with award-winning environments that serve both children and communities.

As the Founder of The Churcher Group, Krystal supports operators in navigating licensing, securing grants, and building strong, sustainable businesses. She is the Chair of the Alberta Association of Childcare Entrepreneurs, co-chair of the National Committee on Childcare Reform, and a member of the ELCC Implementation Committee.

Krystal regularly speaks to policymakers, including Parliament and the Senate, championing choice, innovation, and quality across Canada’s early learning sector.

Monica Moskovic

Monica Moskovic is a passionate early childhood educator with over two decades of experience. A graduate of Mount Royal University’s Early Childhood Education program, she combines her background in fine arts and art therapy with a deep belief in inclusive, child-led learning.

Monica is especially skilled in supporting children with learning differences and has mentored aspiring educators through Bow Valley College, Mount Royal University, and now as an instructor at Robertson College. Her teaching blends theory with practice and heart with innovation.

Ten years ago, she discovered the Reggio Emilia approach — a philosophy that honors children’s creativity, curiosity, and voice. This inspired her to open her own award-winning preschool in Alberta, where art, loose parts, and nature are used as tools for expression and discovery.

Jennifer Collett is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting children in sensory processing, fine-motor development, and daily self-care skills like feeding, dressing, and bathing. She is passionate about helping kids build confidence and independence through playful, goal-oriented therapy.

Jenn works closely with families to create personalized strategies tailored to each child’s unique needs. Her professional training includes specialized approaches in interoception, autism intervention, feeding therapy, sensory profiling, and trauma-informed care.

With a warm, collaborative style, Jenn blends evidence-based methods with creative techniques to make therapy effective and enjoyable. She is deeply committed to empowering both children and their families on every step of the journey.

Amanda Worms is the Founder and CEO of Bella Vita Early Learning, a Reggio Emilia–inspired organization dedicated to nurturing young minds through intentional, relationship-focused care and consulting. With over two decades of experience in early childhood education, Amanda is also the Founder of Elowyn, a farm-based community initiative supporting food-insecure families through inclusive, hands-on learning.

A neurodivergent mother of three, Amanda brings a deeply empathetic and inclusive lens to her work. She is known for her passionate leadership, strong mentorship, and unwavering advocacy for meaningful, child-led environments. Her work has made a lasting impact across British Columbia’s early learning and childcare sector.

Kathryn Babowal brings over 25 years of experience working directly with children, beginning her career as a certified French Immersion elementary teacher. She later founded and still directs two licensed childcare programs in Sherwood Park: a French KinderCare and an out-of-school care program.

Kathryn is a passionate advocate for children, educators, and neurodivergent learners. As a board member with the Association of Canadian Early Learning Programs (ACE), she brings her authentic leadership style to national and provincial conversations around childcare reform. Her work bridges hands-on experience with a powerful voice for policy change.

With unwavering dedication and dynamic energy, Kathryn continues to shape programs and systems that truly support children, families, and those who care for them.
